Probably one of the most classic reasons people leave their countries. Many young people have tried the job of au pair. And its a very lucrative choice! Being an au pair means that your living costs are usually covered. While you can still earn money and even study at the same time!

Now this is going to need you to be a people person. Its pretty hard to live in a house with other humans and not bump into anybody! But as long as you are okay with dealing with the ins and outs of a new family, this is a great opportunity!

How do you become an au pair, you ask? Well the good thing is, you don’t always need an education! Many Au pairs do this gig while still studying. Also for a lot of people this could be their very first job! Making it a great way to start out your career. It is really a luxury to have the time to go for a degree while working abroad.

There are many websites where you can start. We recommend using Au pair international. A very reliable site for au pair vacancies.

4:Free as a bird, the freelancer!

It is not the first time we mention freelancing! But we really cannot say it enough, it is one of the best ways to make money without having a resume! And when it comes to working abroad, it is easily a top contender. One of the issues with finding work outside of your country is the permits. Many times you may need to apply for a work permit before going.

This takes a lot of time, and in some cases will cost you. But freelancing does not require any permits. Since you are technically not working within the country, you are under no obligation to declare to the local government! This means that you could go somewhere on a tourist visa, work from your computer, and make money while travelling.

In other words, you could start freelancing any time, go anywhere, and make money. As long as you have a skill you can use, you’re all good! All you need for starters is a good freelancing website. We can recommend Upwork or Fiverr, as both are very popular and safe ways to sell your services.
